Good days & bad, up times & down

Sometimes we smile sometimes we frown.

Sensitive beings affected by all sorts of things

Not fully trusting life & what she brings

Wired for survival yet aspiring freedom peace & joy

You look so sweet said the girl to the boy.

Attractions & repulsions, likes & dislikes

Going through life quickly driving cars or riding bikes

Keep moving & looking out there

& you’ll go half crazy & start losing your hair.

Silence & stillness long to be your friends

They’re help you navigate the journey & handle the bends

Just keep quiet & still for a while & have a rest

You’ve already succeeded & passed the test.

There is no door to be knocked or anything out there to be found

Just keep quiet don’t make a sound

What we’re all looking for we hear is inside

You’ll never outrun yourself & it’s impossible to hide.

We simply have to accept ourselves with all of our parts

Including adversity & all the painful darts

Unconditional love peace & happiness is the state a true yogi will reach

United with the whole, I’m gonna chill now on the beach.

Rama & Sita both look at us now

Two becoming almost one, I smile & bow

Friends in high places connected to the source of it all

On the path of life many times we’ll fall.

But we get back up & carry on

We know life is short we have to sing our song

Make your inner world as you wish it to be

Mixing awareness, gratitude, love & kindness gives you the key.
