Porridge for breakfast it’s a brand new day

It’s nice & warm what do the wise ones say

I see on olive tree dancing in the breeze

The sun’s shining through nothing will freeze.

Being present here with what is

Resting your mind it’s good for this

You’re feel alive as you observe & see

A loving awareness engulfs both you & me.

We may appear to be two or more

But we’re only one at our very core

That is what the enlightened ones say

Those living in light both night & day.

Wisdom seeped through from days gone by

The yogis saw deeply & appeased their cry

They came to know life at its very core

To a non-interested person they’re such a bore.

Many people seem to like sleeping in illusion

& led by ego a complete delusion

They get angry when you try to wake them up

It’s just too early they prefer the coffee cup.

Warmth on my face with the sky so wide

You’re more than your circumstance & the changing tide

Apparently we’re eternal & at the center of things

Determining our life whatever it brings.

A persons mindset effects nearly everything

Their vibe & perspective influence what life will take & bring

Realizing your connection & that the whole is one

Is important knowledge the battle’s half won.

An intelligent being experiencing now

Will sense the togetherness like milk & cow

Always this moment but life moves along

Maybe one day you’ll sing that song.
