Now 19 - Would you like to know?

Been wanting to write a poem & now's the time

it's been over a year which i guess is fine

been around the world & done some incredible stuff

no wonder i'm knackered & looking ruff.

Sitting in a cafe in NW10

here i am with paper & pen

maybe the girl who works here has inspired me to write

she surely is one of life's most amazing sights.

Rare to see such beauty in human form

it's usually only in nature such fineness is born

don't know her name, age or what she's about

but she's proded me awake there is no doubt.

This poem makes me laugh it seems absurd

she's probably less than half my age & we've hardly uttered a word

to read her this poem looks like a crazy thing to do

but me expressing myself is nothing new.

Man & lady is Gods favorite laugh

complicated and baffling i'll go take a bath

when i first saw her my body vibrated into life

falling in love brings such unimaginable strife.

So take it easy & breathe in deep

i wonder what she looks like when she's fast asleep

in all fairness i'll probably never find out

& that's ok it's not what this is about.

Maybe i'll keep it a secret & not say a word

but that's no fun said the bee to the bird

if someone wrote a poem about you would you like to know

or is it just too creepy & better not to show.

i've left the cafe & going to work

making a sale now feels like a perk

with lifes challenges & difficulties too

meeting this lady, well what to do? :)
