I’m going to Camden for a night of fun

Interesting poems people & rum

This spot of the planet’s not like the rest

Pink & blue hair maybe green’s the best.

The people here like to be pierced & inked

There’s a strong smell of gange & the toilets stinked

The whole wide universe is represented here

The happy the neutral & those shedding a tear.

The canals close by & of course Regents Park

People light up come out of the dark

Kentish Town’s right here with Primrose Hill close by

Do you love your neighbor are you prepared to give it a try?

There’s people here from near & far

Who knows who you’ll meet at the bar

People in great places celebrating with joy

Everything’s temporary said the wise old man to the little boy.

Be aware of where you focus your energy & attention

& try to choose well I really have to mention

This rhyme was written in my own back yard

Try to make things easier it needn't be so hard.

Take a few breaths & connect with who you are

You’re a lot more precious than even the coolest car

You’re much more than your body thoughts or feelings

The master of your world giving birth to all meanings.

There’s an artistic flare around this town

With an equal balance of smile & frown

Creative people swarming around

Still punks on the street requesting a pound.

Talking to an audience brings a little responsibility

You need to hear more about your potential mobility

You’re free to think, feel & do as you wish

Listen to no one said the bird to the fish.

I have no idea how this rhyme will go down

Am I dressed ok should I have worn a gown

Its good our paths are crossing here tonight

For your freedom & happiness you'll have to stand & fight.
